"Bedford Village, Ma."

1820 image of present day New Bedford.

Formerly known as Bedford Village this was an intersection that changed drastically over the years.

It's hard to think that this was the intersection on Union Street and Purchase Street.

So much has changed since that time. In this image none of these buildings are here any longer.
