Whaling Ship Hove Down in New Bedford, Ma.

At the harbor in New Bedford, Ma. a whaling ship is "hove down" for repair to the hull.

This method allowed workers to stand on small, work rafts and clean, paint, re-copper and recaulk the hull.

This is an uncommon view of the harbor with a mirror like surface.

The sky is over cast with an angry look to it.
